Shipping Information

Delivery Time:
Most orders are filled and shipped within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment. We use U.P.S. as our primary delivery service; however other carriers (i.e., FedEx, U.S Mail, DHL, etc.) may be requested. Though we strive to honor your requests we reserve the right to change the shipping carrier if needed.

Free Freight:
When free freight is offered it will be based on U.P.S.Ground shipping rate/schedule within the Continental U.S. You can expedite your delivery, but you must pay the difference (i.e., added expense.)

International:
Orders being delivered outside of the U.S. or its territories, may incur additional charges and/or delays. Our company, WesTrends.com is not responsible for any delays, customs, duties, import, surcharges, and/or any other taxes and fees -- imposed by another country. However, we will make every effort to facilitate a smooth transition and delivery. Please check with us before your order is placed if you have any questions concerning these items.

Pallet Charge:
On large quantities or an extremely large order, we may require it to be shipped on a pallet. An additional shipping charge (pallet charge) will be added to your total.

Some customers do not wish to pay this fee. To accommodate them, we ask them to submit a signed request absolving WesTrends.com from any and all liability regarding shipping. They must also pre-pay their order in full by wire transfer. Then, and only then, will we ship their item -- any way they want.

Rates / Shipping Charge:
Appropriate shipping charges will be added to each order. Shipping charges may include a surcharge. All orders over 150 lbs. will be quoted and shipped on the least expensive common carrier (truck) that's available, unless requested otherwise.

Truck / Common Carrier:
Some items cannot be shipped via UPS, FedEx, etc. We have attempted to identify these products and have posted notices on the particular product's web page. Therefore, unless specifically requested, we will ship the best way (i.e., the least expensive common carrier for the value) that we can find.

Surcharges:
A surcharge to cover miscellaneous shipping, handling, and insurance charges may be added to your shipping cost.

Shipping Notice:
DO NOT sign the delivery receipt, until you have inspected the shipment for any physical damage. Packages leave us in good condition. If you sign for the package(s) without properly noting damages, we will not accept responsibility for the goods you accept.

Insured Shipping
Shipping prices quoted on this site apply to locations in the continental US and Canada only. Please call us for a quote on shipments outside of these areas.

We charge for packing and shipping based on size, fragility, type of shipping requested and price of the item being shipped. 

Do not limit your ability to collect damage claims. Refuse shipment or make exceptions such as: "Subject to Inspection." This MUST be noted on driver's paperwork.
